They took over the company which was previously ran by their father (in-law) Corné Elst. Corné started with a small container cultivation in 1984 and since, the company has grown into an eleven hectares big container cultivation consisting of nine hectares of field and two hectares of greenhouses.

Containerteelt Elst-Bevers B.V. has specialized its nursery to grow garden- and hedge plants, with Prunus Laurocerasus and deciduous shrubs as their top-shelf products.
